The House of Representatives has approved the declaration of a state of emergency for Rivers State, along with the six-month suspension of Governor Sim Fubara, deputy and all elected members of the assembly, as announced by President Tinubu.
The 243 House of Representatives member approves Tinubu’s proclamation has approved with amendments.
It would be recalled that President Tinubu declared a State of Emergency suspending the Governor, Sim Fubara, his deputy and the House of Assembly.
