Nicholas Ukachukwu has been announced as the winner of the APC governorship primary in Anambra, defeating Valentine Ozigbo and other contestants.

Nicholas Ukachukwu scored 1,455 votes to beat his closest rival Valentine Ozigbo who scored 67 votes.

Prince Dr. Nicholas Ukachukwu – 1,455 votes
Mr. Valentine Ozigbo – 67 votes
Engr. Johnbosco Onunkwo – 26 votes
Edozie Madu – 8 votes

Nicholas Ukachukwu, APC Anambra Governorship candidate, said as he gave his acceptance speech thank the President for not siding with any candidate. He thanked the Party Chairman and the APC National working committee for not interfering in the process and promised to work with other aspirants to deliver Anamabra in November.

“We shall deliver Anambra to the APC. One thing I want to say here, nobody has won the governorship of Anambra without my support; it has never happened before. I have been playing god fatherism, but now I want to be the father of the father, no more godfather.”
