Job Description
Responsible for monitoring and ensuring best-in-class voice and data Quality of Service. Monitoring, reporting and analysis of Radio Network performance indices, taking proactive and corrective actions to keep and maintain these quality of Service KPIs above agreed targets delivering best in class Customer experience. Drive initiatives and interventions to improve Radio Network quality
Responsibilities
Network Performance Analysis across all RATs (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G and Next-Gs)
- Network performance evaluation, and deep dive
- Network parameter Auditing and correction
- Network quality and capacity trending and forecasting
- Root cause analysis and solution recommendation
- Network competition Benchmarking
- Network Impact assessment and change evaluation
- Quality KPI formulation, definition and standardization
- Responsible for any quality/KPI impacting changes introduced to the radio network or to any changes made to methods, processes or procedures, whether internal or external.
- Capacity monitoring/reporting and make recommendations for Traffic reshuffling and Capacity Management.
- To monitor Radio Network with the aim of identifying poor performance and escalating/follow up on MS Partner to improve performance and give customers desired experience.
- Work with Operations Team to ensure 99.99% Radio network service Availability
- Daily review and follow up on worst cells for timely resolution of identified issues.
- QoS KPI improvement/stable to meet agreed threshold
MS Partner Management
- Coordinate weekly Network Performance Meetings with MS Partners to review Network KPIs.
- Benchmark performance of various partners to engender effective competition for continued improvement.
- Validate the accuracy and integrity of all performance reports with regards to Radio services received from MS Partner (weekly/monthly/Quarterly/adhoc/etc.).
- Provide support to MS partners for troubleshooting and resolving problematic cells with appropriate recommendations
Network Management ReportsÂ
- Analysis of all Radio Network Reports from MS Partners and make recommendations for optimal performance.
- Prepare independent reports to validate claims from MS Partners.
- Prepare RAN Performance reports as required by Management.
Regulatory reporting
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
- Identify and correct wrongly measured parameters to be in line with regulatory requirements

Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years in GSM Network performance/Optimization/Planning
- Minimum 5 Years Managerial experience
- Minimum 7 year experience in Mobile Communication
- 8 years’ experience in ICT/Telecom
- Bachelor of Engineering degree (communication, electronics, or related fields)
- Sound knowledge of Mobile Network Planning, Optimization and/or O&M
- Strong Analytical, Statistical and Presentation skills
- Sound Excel/Office suits
- Knowledge of performance management systems/tools, statistics, formula
- Cognate Leadership skills
- Ability to innovate and deliver value to business at multiple levels will play an important role
- Ability to manage an outsourcing partner to deliver business solution
