The European Union (EU) has removed Nigeria from its list of “High-Risk Third Country Jurisdictions.

This development is the latest vote of confidence in the FG’s efforts to combat money laundering and clean up the Nigeria’s finance risk profile.

It also follows the removal of the country from the FATF Grey list last October and is a testament to the success of the various reforms embarked upon by President Tinubu-led administration since emergence in May 2023.

Other countries like South Africa was also removed.
