President Tinubu will later this month visit the United Kingdom for a historic two-day state visit from March 18 to 19, 2026, at the invitation of King Charles III.

The visit, announced on Sunday via the royal official X handle, confirms that King Charles III and Queen Camilla will host the Nigerian President and his wife, wife and First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu at Windsor Castle.

The statement read: “The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mr Bola Ahmed Tinubu, accompanied by the First Lady, Mrs Oluremi Tinubu, has accepted an invitation from His Majesty The King to pay a state visit to the United Kingdom from Wednesday, 18 March to Thursday, 19 March 2026.

The King and Queen will host the state visit at Windsor Castle.”
