President Bola Tinubu has disclosed that he once threatened to sack the FCT Minister of FCT, HM Nyesom Wike during a conversation about the development of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
This was disclosed when the minister led the FCT community to pay Eid-El Fitr Homage to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the State House Banquet Hall.

The President said:

“I remember the day Nyesom Wike came to me and said “Please take us out of this problem of TSA so I can do more work and achieve more, he showed me his plans and I threw in my political jibe “Will that give my party an opportunity to win an election in the FCT” I asked him your party or mine? Because if it goes too much in your favour, you will lose your job… And everything started changing rapidly”

It would be recalled that insinuation was rift before the visit that the FCT minister had suffered from a stroke and had been rushed out of the country for treatment in France.
