Okehi LG Chairman announces curfew against Natasha's home coming

Suspended Senator, Natasha Akpoti flew a helicopter into the venue of her home coming hours after a curfew was declared by the Local Government Chairman of the area the event was scheduled to be held.

Shortly after landing, the embattled Senator amidst cheers and loud music and dance by her supporters walked into the waiting arms of her supporters and then walked up to the stage to announce her arrival.

“Nobody and nothing can stop me from coming home. I’m an Ebira woman; this is my land. I’m the daughter of the late Jimoh Abdul Akpoti. I know my roots; I’m not a bastard, and I’m not afraid of anybody.” says the suspended Senator.

“What I see INEC doing is aiding and guiding petitioners on how to perfect their illicit acts,” Senator Natasha said regarding the ongoing recall process.

“Justice Egwuatu was supposed to seat, take all the pleadings and decide, which I believe would have been in our favor, and that means we would have had the suspension quashed, and I would have resumed duties at the senate.” concluded

This all happened despite the restrictions on vehicle convoys, public gatherings, and the implementation of a curfew.
