    Job Description

    We are searching for a General Manager to manage the daily operations. The General Manager (GM) is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and strategic direction of the company. This role involves managing day-to-day operations, ensuring financial health, driving business development, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

    • Responsible for development and management of Solar/Renewable Energy business as profit centre head across all regions in the country.
    • Responsible for identifying potential opportunities and implementation of business strategy.
    • Profitability of business, quality of product and support services delivered to customer.
    • Liaison with Government agencies, funding agencies for regulatory support, project funding, policy framework and promotion of Solar energy to Power/Agricultural/Industrial applications.
    • Oversee market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
    • Expand the company’s market presence and customer base.
    • Identify internal infrastructure to operate business segment with commercial viability.
    • Responsible for correct financial margins in accordance with budgets & correct selection of price mark up for equipment
    • Co-ordination with engineering team on suppliers’ end & proper installation of the equipment as per manufacturers’ guidelines
    • Co-ordinate with Service Department to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
    • Responsible for compliance with ISO system for business process
    • Develop and implement operational strategies to drive growth and efficiency within the company.
    • Oversee day-to-day operations, including project management,supply    chain management, and quality control.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
    • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in leadership position within the solar energy industry.
    • Strong understanding of solar energy technologies and market dynamics.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
    • Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management.
    • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
    • Strong understanding of key strategic KPIs and how to set and achieve them.
    • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
    • Demonstrated success in managing large databases and operational systems.
    • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards
