Victor Umeh, a Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District and Labour Party’ Presidential candidate in the 2023 election has empowered 520 conctituents with items such as:- fertilizer,fish pond, piglets, Palm Seedlings, Poultry feeds, day old chicks , Cassava Stem, maize Seedlings , Fingerlings, etc.

Umeh of the Labour Party, flanked by Peter Obi said 520 farmers in Adazi Nnuikwu were empowered in the first batch and also promised there would be another batch of agro empowerment before the end of the year.

Peter Obi was also seen giving out some of the items like cassava sticks to beneficiaries.

According to Senator Umeh’s Senior Legislative Aide, Mr. Chijioke Ifekpolugo, the four-day event, which began on Tuesday, 25th March 2025, will conclude on Friday, 28th March 2025.

There will also be a training session for the beneficiaries.

Mr. Ifekpolugo urged participants to attend all sessions promptly to maximize the benefits of the training and access available resources.

He assured them that, beyond the training, they would receive necessary tools and resources to put their new knowledge into practice.

Senator Umeh reaffirmed his commitment to supporting local agriculture and providing sustainable economic opportunities for constituents of Anambra Central Senatorial District.
