• Police invite Senator over alledged threats to Uba Sani’s life

    The police have invited Senator Lawal Adamu Usman (Kaduna Central) in connection with alleged threats to life and false, damaging claims against Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State.

    In a letter signed by CP Rabiu Muhammad, the Commissioner of Police for Kaduna State, the police have requested that Senator Lawal personally meet with the Commissioner at the Kaduna State Police Command on Monday, September 1st, to address the aforementioned allegations.

    The latter reads: “RE-THREAT TO LIFE, FALSE AND INJURIOUS ALLEGATIONS AGAINST HIS EXCELLENCY GOV.UBA SANI OF KADUNA STATE

    “This is to inform you that Kaduna state police command is in receipt of a formal letter of complaint levelled against your humble-self by his Excellency the executive Governor of kaduna state through the ministry of justice, Kaduna state in respect to the underlined offences highlighted above.

    “You are kindly requested to appear in person to the commissioner of police Kaduna state command on Monday 1st September to respond to the said allegations

    “Your cooperation in this regard is highly appreciated, please.”
