    Speaking on his defection from the People Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress this morning on a AriseTV channel, former Vice Presidential candidate in the 2023, Patrick Okowa says his defection is based on his conviction that his State need to connect with the center politically.

    He also accused former Senate President, Bukola Saraki ad not having the moral right to talk about his defection into another party when he also did same in 2015.

    “I didn’t expect somebody like Senator Bukola Saraki to be able to speak about me because he also moved to the APC before eventually returns. I don’t think he has the moral right to speak about my defection at all.” Okowa explained.

    It would be recalled that all political machineries of the PDP in Delta state moved into the ruling party including the sitting governor if the state.
