President has Declared a State of Emergency in Rivers State.
He has also appointed Vice Admiral Ibokette Ibas (Rtd) as Administrator to take charge of the affairs of the state in the interest of the good people of Rivers State.
This means the Executive and the house of Assembly will not function for Six months.
And the military administration will work with the National Executive council to governor the state.
