Katsina State Government confirmed on Wednesday afternoon that President Bola Tinubu would visit the state on Friday and return to Abuja on Saturday.

The state Commissioner for Information, Home Affairs and Culture, Hon. Bala Salisu stated this while speaking with newsmen in the state capital.

Salisu said during the two-day visit, the president is expected to commission some state government projects, among other engagements.

The President is also expected to commission the massive Katsina Eastern By-pass, a road which links Kano road with Kaita, Daura, and Dutsinma councils.

The second project, he said, is the Katsina State Agriculture Mechanisation center, adding that the project would go a long way to transforming the agricultural sector of the state.

The last time Tinubu was in the state was on Sunday, July 10, 2022, before the general elections.
